Hastings Blue Belle Excursion Train
The Bluebell Railway are planning to operate a second "Hastings Blue Belle" Special on Saturday 24th September from Hastings to our new station at East Grinstead, including a ride over the restored ten arch Hill Place Viaduct.
Upon arrival at East Grinstead, passengers may explore the market town of East Grinstead with the longest run of timber framed buildings in the country. Take time out to visit the town museum just off the High Street or explore the many shops, pubs and restaurants and even make a start to your Christmas shopping.
There is also the opportunity to continue your journey by the 473 bus to Kingscote and take a trip behind one of our steam trains to Sheffield Park on the Bluebell Railway. An hourly train service is in operation and the Bluebell Add On Ticket allows unlimited third class travel for the day.
The provisional date is Saturday 24th September but this is still subject to final confirmation.
