Victorian Christmas
Enjoy a very special journey between Horsted Keynes and Sheffield Park stations in one of our Victorian carriages, all over one hundred years of age. You will have an exclusive compartment for up to six passengers and we will supply you with a hamper of delicious snacks and drinks to enjoy on your ten mile round trip to Sheffield Park.
The Victorian Specials will commence from Horsted Keynes station where Father Christmas is looking forward to meeting all his very special friends. There are also the Victorian Fairground games to play, the model railway to visit and lots of different photo opportunities amongst the Victorian dressed ladies and gentlemen. All the activities are included in the price. Hot Chestnuts and Mulled wine will be available for you to purchase.
Special evening services on Saturday 15th, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd December depart Horsted Keynes at 5.30pm. The station will be open from 4.30pm. On Friday 21st December services depart Horsted Keynes at 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and evening service at 5.30pm.
Compartments for six passengers are available at £150 for First Class or £100 Third Class. Some compartments can hold up to eight passengers with a £20 supplement per person.
Our recently restored Victorian carriage with accommodation for up to four wheelchairs in a special saloon is available. Prices for travelling in this carriage are £25.00 per person in a shared saloon.

Our well established Christmas Service Trains inevitably fill quite quickly, particularly the two weekends prior to Christmas Day, so we advise you to book as early as possible with, where possible, alternative times and/or dates.
We will consider refunds on their merits if cancellations are made at least 7 days before the date of travel. Unfortunately refunds cannot be considered after this time. Requests for refunds must be notified by telephone and immediately confirmed in writing. An administration fee of £10.00 will apply to all refunds, please apply to the Customer Service Team at Sheffield Park. Obviously every effort will be made to run the trains according to this timetable but unforeseen circumstances may entail alterations or cancellations. Bluebell Railway plc. reserves the right to vary any of the provisions contained within this leaflet without prior notice.
In the event of inclement weather resulting in the Bluebell Railway being unable to operate any Christmas specials, a refund will be available. However, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds if we are able to operate our trains between Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes. Customers who book to travel on a Christmas Special but are unable to reach Sheffield Park or Horsted Keynes from their place of residence may have their tickets exchanged for travel on timetabled service trains during 2012, providing they have contacted the Bluebell Railway by telephone or email on or before the date of travel and obtained a credit voucher. We regret refunds are unavailable after the date of travel.
Victorian Specials, in the event of inclement weather and the roads around Horsted Keynes being difficult to traverse, these trains will start and finish at Sheffield Park.
