How you can help
Access to both the Museum on Platform 2, and SteamWorks! on Platform 1 is FREE to anyone purchasing train tickets, or platform tickets at Sheffield Park.
The museums and archives rely on donations, grants or legacies and are nearly self-funding. We are pleased to receive donations of historic objects and archives.
Tap and Go machines are sited in both the Museum on Platform 2 and SteamWorks! on Platform 1 for convenience, to take cashless donations via card or mobile phone contactless apps.
If you have an object or artefact that you think we would be interested in please contact us in the first instance.
Note: Please do not bring anything to the Railway without contacting us first.
