This volume, like its predecessors, is a mixture of cine and still photography and begins with the last day of BR service on the Bluebell in March 1958, followed by the first public trains on the preserved railway in August 1960.

Other delights include P Class 31178 working at Bowaters, 75027 before preservation near Carnforth and 30064 shunting at Eastleigh. The visit of 30120 on a railtour is seen as is Mr. Pastry, the comic creation of Richard Hearne, visiting the line in 1964.

Stepney, Fenchurch, the Adams tank, Blackmore Vale and C Class 592 are also included in this DVD which, like the others in the series, is silent.
