Branch Lines around Weymouth from Abbotsbury, Easton and the Quay

The Abbotsbury branch served a population of under 1000 and was typical of the once numerous quiet rural backwaters of the GWR. The Easton line was unique with its joint ownership, steep gradients and sidings to a multitude of stone quarries.
