Diesel Gala Pie & Mash Special

The motive power (subject to availability) for this Pie & Mash special will be in the form of Class 37 D6851 ‘Flopsie’ (from Locomotive Services Limited) and Class 33 No. 33111 (from The Swanage Railway.)

D6851 will be hauling the train on Friday, 33111 & D6851 will be hauling the train together on Saturday.

Be part of this extra special inclusion to our gala weekend and treat yourself to a sumptuous Pie & Mash, hauled by two of our visiting guest locomotives.

SATURDAY 7TH SEPTMBER: Front 4 coaches will be reserved for Pie and Mash Supper Special ticket holders only. Plus, a special Diesel Gala Beer-Ex special will also form part of this train (rear 6 coaches only).

Trains will stop at Horsted Keynes for live music between 8pm and 10:30pm each night. With licensed bars and food available on the dock of Platform 5.

Saturday evening –

Music from Carnaby Street Band, performing hits from the 60’s

Pie and Mash from Simply Tasty At Horsted Keynes Station (open Saturday 11am – 10pm and Sunday 11am – 5pm)- For those passengers who hold travel only tickets.

Rustic Bars (open 10:30am – 11pm Friday and Saturday and 10:30am – 4:30pm Sunday) and the King George Buffet will be pouring your favourite beverages, all weekend!
