Teddy Bears' Picnic Featuring Peter Rabbit!
Teddy Bears’ Picnic will be returning again in 2024. Details provided below are from the 2023 weekend.
Our Teddy Bears’ Picnic is the ideal summer holiday day out!
We all know that teddies love adventures, so pack a picnic and your Teddy for a steam train ride.
You can join this event at Sheffield Park, Horsted Keynes or East Grinstead. Adults buy an All-Day Rover ticket to travel up and down the line on the timetabled service trains. Our ‘Kids For A Quid’ event will be taking place throughout the weekend.
Get off at Kingscote Station to enjoy your picnic in the picnic area and make sure to give Teddy a big push on the swings and roundabout in the playground.
Our picnic areas:
- Sheffield Park along the river side
- Horsted Keynes overlooking the station
- Kingscote in our tranquil paddock with children’s play area.
Each of these stations host a refreshment outlet.
PETER RABBIT AT THE BLUEBELL RAILWAY!
We are excited to announce that, Peter Rabbit™ will visit the railway on August 5th and 6th. This event will run alongside Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Kids For A Quid.
Meet and greet Peter Rabbit at Kingscote Station on August 5th at these set times:
11.00 , 12.00 , 1.00 , 2.00 , 3.00
Peter Rabbit will also appear during story time sessions at Kingscote Station on August 6th at these set times:
11.00 , 11.40 , 12.30, 1.30 , 2.10
All sessions are FREE and are available to anyone who has purchased a rail travel ticket. Access to Kingscote station will be available by train only. There will be photo opportunities so don’t forget your camera, HOP onto the train, bring your teddy bear and picnic for a delightful family day at Kingscote Station.
