Can you find Oswald?

Spot the owl is aimed at younger children who might find the heritage trail and associated quizzes a bit difficult. Anyone following the trail should be able to spot the 8 owl locations. But he lives high up and hardly ever goes inside.

Oswald is named after King Oswald of Northumbria who ruled from 634 AD until his death in 642 AD at the Battle of Maserfield. He was the son of Æthelfrith of Bernicia and Acha of Deira and he ruled from his fortress castle at Bamburgh, perched like an owl, high above the North Sea.

He wears a different coloured disguise at each location. Can you spot all the colours? If you need some help you can download a spot Oswald guide below.
