RBR 1674 returns to service
After extensive work by the dedicated Carriage & Wagon team at Horsted Keynes, this historic vehicle has returned to service on the Bluebell Railway. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing it back to operational condition.
Built in 1961 as British Railways Standard Steam Stock (Mk.I) Restaurant-Buffet Car No. 1674, now named ‘White Horse’, has been beautifully refurbished and is seen here at Sheffield Park yesterday, ready to carry passengers once again as part of the railway’s dining and special train services.
