The great Bluebell Railway Easter Treasure Hunt is back from Friday 19th – Mon 22nd April 2019.
Why not get the train direct to East Grinstead (under one hour from London) and stroll over to the Bluebell Railway terminus (an easy three-minute walk) for a day of fun and adventure. Alternatively park up at Sheffield Park Station near Uckfield and begin your adventure there.
Grab an activity sheet from any of our four beautiful heritage railway stations and travel the Bluebell Railway searching for clues and taking part in games and challenges.
Every one of our four historic stations is hosting a different game or challenge. Complete the activity at each station to get a winner’s stamp on your activity sheet, two or more stamps wins a small lucky dip prize!
Can you collect all four stamps and win a place on our champions’ board?!
A wide range of food and refreshments will be available from a variety of restaurants and buffets along the Bluebell Railway network, or why not bring and enjoy your own picnic at Sheffield Park Station’s riverside walk and picnic area, take in the magnificent views from the Horsted Keynes paddock or enjoy the tranquil play zone and maybe a cheeky ice-cream or two at sleepy yet stunning Kingscote.
Other attractions include our brand-new SteamWorks! interactive exhibit (Sheffield Park), the converted elephant transport play carriage (Horsted Keynes) and museum (Sheffield Park).
Entry to the Treasure Hunt and entire Bluebell Railway network is free with every child, adult or family all-day rover ticket purchased for the 19th – 22nd April 2019. Suitable for children aged 3+.
