Three locos in steam all week – 14-22 February
Featuring no fewer than 8 departures from Sheffield Park Station (the first at 10.30am) this intensive steam service will see four departures serving the full line to East Grinstead, and four shuttles to Horsted Keynes with the 1872-built Stroudley Terrier ‘Fenchurch’.
BR 4MT Tank No.80151 will be working our Set A services.
6989 ‘Wightwick Hall’ will be hauling Set B trains – and it’s a real star! Fresh from a second round of filming woro for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, this famous Hall is not to be missed
LB&SCR Terrier No. 72 ‘Fenchurch’ will be running regular shuttle services between Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes with our 1913-built LNWR Observation Coach 1503
There’s even more to enjoy off the rails, too! Bluebell Brickworks will be taking place at Horsted Keynes and on Set A trains (see Timetable), giving families the chance to get hands-on with creative building fun. Plus, our popular Kids for a Quid travel offer is available, making it a brilliant value day out for the whole family.
Wrap up warm, bring the camera, and enjoy a steam-filled February half term at the Bluebell Railway!
