Excellent facilities for meetings & events
The Stroudley Room at Horsted Keynes is a purpose-built meeting and training room, equipped with large screens and portable whiteboards. With over 60 square meters of floor space, it can comfortably accommodate 24 people as a classroom or 32 when configured as a lecture theatre. There’s an adjacent kitchen (including a microwave) and full welfare facilities, including showers. The building is accessible and there’s ample car parking. A similar, but smaller, room is also available.
The Birch Grove Suite at Sheffield Park can accommodate larger gatherings, seating up to 84 people theatre-style. This flexible space is also available for exhibitions and parties.

- Hold your small event or sales presentation in our historic Great Northern Saloon coach, whilst enjoying a traditional cream tea.
- Hire one of our large carriage sheds for a fashion shoot or product launch.

- Charter a train – or your own private coach on a scheduled train – with optional catering.
- When you really want to impress, enquire about chartering our beautifully restored 1920’s Pullman train, seating up to 97 from mid 2022, including accessible seating.

Say thank you to your team with Christmas lunch served on a beautifully-restored 1920’s Pullman car whilst being hauled by a steam train through the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Sussex. We offer silver service catering in the finest Pullman tradition. Hire the whole train (seating up to 97) and choose your own menu, or hire your own carriage on a scheduled dining train and enjoy our festive Christmas menu.

Hands on team days out
Our rail experience days offer attendees a unique opportunity to see how the various elements of a railway – civil and mechanical engineering, operations, signalling and passenger care – come together to deliver a reliable experience.
Attendees gain experience of driving, guarding, signal operation, permanent way, operational planning and much more, all in a safe environment and using electro-mechanical equipment that lets you see what is actually going on.
Our rail experience days are perfect for team building for groups of 10 – 20. We can customise the day to your requirements, including the use of our high-quality training venue.
