Augmented Reality Trail:
Shaun the Sheep Characters: Follow Shaun and his farmyard friends across our railway. Watch as they come to life through your smartphone or tablet!
Interactive Challenges: Complete fun challenges and solve puzzles to help Shaun and his friends on their adventure.
Educational Fun: Learn fascinating facts about our railway and its history while enjoying the trail.

How to Participate:

Get ready for a thrilling adventure as our beloved Dinosaur pals return to The Bluebell Railway for two exhilarating days of roaring fun in both June and August! Regardless of the weather, you’ll have the opportunity to gaze in wonder at our magnificent Dinosaurs on display at Sheffield Park. Even if it starts to rain, these amazing creatures will take shelter in our SteamWorks shed, ensuring that the fun doesn’t stop. What’s more, we have an unbeatable offer where children can join the journey for just £1 when accompanied by an adult with a rail ticket.

Experience the enchantment of unicorns, not only in fairy tales but this weekend at the Bluebell Railway! Our exclusive unicorn-themed weekend is ready to add a touch of magic to your journey. Authentic and captivating, they’re designed to ignite joy and wonder. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

Have your chance to meet and greet unicorns and have your photo taken with them at KINGSCOTE station on August 10th & 11th. They will be available to visit between 11 am and 4 pm on both days.

This event is FREE to anyone who purchases an all day rover travel ticket. Kids can also travel for just £1 with any fare paying adult throughout the weekend!

Get ready for a day of family fun and adventure at Horsted Keynes & Sheffield Park stations transforms into a vibrant fun fair, courtesy of L & L Leisure! Mark your calendars for a day packed with joy, laughter, and unlimited rides for the kids.

What’s in Store:

Main Fun Fair in the Event Field at Horsted Keynes:
2-3 Children’s Rides: Perfect for our little guests to have a blast!
4 Inflatables: Bounce, jump, and play to their hearts’ content.

Forecourt Fun At Sheffield Park
Vintage Carousel: A classic ride that brings nostalgia and joy.
Swing Boats: A thrilling ride pending final site check.

Ride Unlimited for an Hour:

Kids can enjoy unlimited rides for one hour with a special wristband. Fair staff will distribute wristbands upon ticket verification on the day.

Ticket Pricing:
£15 per child for unlimited rides.
Adults go FREE with a child’s ticket!
Special Offer: Adults accompanying a child with a fairground ticket can access the station for just £5.

Additional Delights:
Candyfloss and Confectionery: Indulge in sweet treats available for purchase.
Drinks: Available at the Station Buffet.

Also throughout the time the fun fair is at our railway, you will have your chance to see Britain’s Newest Steam Locomotive: 32424 ‘Beachy Head’ in action on our service trains!

Due to another event at the station, regular admission fares are elevated. However, adults accompanying a child with a fairground ticket enjoy a special admission rate of £5.
