Golden Arrow Valentines Dinner

Your romantic evening begins with each couple receiving a complimentary red rose as you step into the period Booking Hall, before you make your way to the Bessemer Arms to enjoy a glass of Hindleap Sparkling Rosé. There will be time to purchase further drinks from the bar before you to board the Golden Arrow Pullman, where our uniformed stewards will show you to your valentine themed decorated table.

As the train departs from Sheffield Park station, savour the golden age of luxury train travel when the only way to travel was by train in carriages with comfortable armchairs, highly polished brass fittings and superbly ornate marquetry panelled surroundings. Enjoy a freshly crafted, four-course meal created especially for this enchanting and intimate Valentine’s evening Golden Arrow Pullman, that showcases the high culinary standards we uphold, silver served at your table, followed by tea or coffee and truffles. Why not make your evening that extra bit special by ordering a bottle of champagne, prosecco or sparkling wine in advance that will be on your table when you board.

The Golden Arrow operates with elegant three Pullman cars, Christine dating from 1928, Fingall from 1924 and Car 54 from 1923, all beautifully restored to their former glory when such cars were used to convey passengers between London and Paris as part of the original Golden Arrow Pullman.

The train departs from Sheffield Park at 7pm bound for East Grinstead with your Pullman experience lasing 3½ hours, returning to Sheffield Park at 10:30pm. It will be an evening that you will both remember for years to come.
