Murder at Calico Creek

(April to December)

Welcome to the wild west and the small town of Calico Creek in 1862. Nestled in the lush Sacramento Valley this place was once a hive of great activity following the gold rush of 1849. The determined residents of Calico Creek now turn to the much anticipated Transatlantic Railroad to make their fortunes.

Happy times are predicted as the townsfolk come together to celebrate the marriage of Mary Leigh and James Willoughby, who like so many, are in search of the American dream.

Ryan Stone, son of Mayor Joseph and disapproving mother Agnes Stone, is looking forward to a wedding and hoping that he can persuade Sugars to take his arm in marriage. Sugars has tragically lost her husband and is a determined and clever woman.

But a new stranger in town has been ruffling feathers and the celebrations are cruelly interrupted by the sound of gunfire and one unlucky member of the group has seen their last sunrise and bites the dust.
