20–22 March – Three days of visiting steam, intensive timetables and classic railway atmosphere

Advance tickets are now available for the Spring Steam Gala at the Bluebell Railway, taking place 20–22 March 2026. This is one of our most popular events of the season, featuring an intensive timetable and plenty of steam action across the line — and buying in advance could save you money on the day.

Visiting locomotives joining the gala (all subject to availability) include:

• BR Standard Class 4MT No. 75069 (from the Severn Valley Railway and the 75069 Fund)
• W8 ‘Freshwater’ (from the Isle of Wight Steam Railway)
• GWR Saint 4-6-0 No. 2999 ‘Lady of Legend’  (from Didcot Railway Centre and Great Western Preservation)

These guest engines will be joined by members of the Bluebell Railway’s own fleet for an unforgettable weekend of steam, sights and sounds.
