70000 ‘Britannia’ Visits The Bluebell Railway!
We are delighted to welcome in ‘Britannia’ to our railway over the weekend. The loco will be on static display on shed on Saturday 24th May between 11 am and 4 pm, before leaving on Sunday.
Why not come down and view this fantastic locomotive this weekend!
Please note: 70000 will not being hauling any Bluebell service trains during its duration spent at our railway and will be on static display only.

The second of the two VanWides has now arrived
The second BR 1962-built VanWide goods wagon arrived from MOD Marchwood today. More details about this new arrival, which is a private purchase for use as a store, but which is also intended to run as part of our early-BR steam era goods train once repainted, are available on the web page for this vehicle, B783912.
The first photo below shows the two vans before delivery, and the second, taken by John Sandys yesterday, shows B783270, which arrived on Tuesday.
