Fundraising for the Southern Railway Coach Group
We are grateful for any donations, large or small, single or regular, to support the restoration work we are doing and plan to do on the Railway’s SR carriages.

The aim of the SRCG is to promote the restoration of vehicles to produce complete 6-coach rakes of SR Maunsell and Bulleid vehicles over a period of time. The aim of the fundraising is to build up solid and ongoing funding over a period of years to enable continuity of the restoration programme, to supplement the funds currently available.
We began a major restoration of Maunsell Restaurant Car 7864, the sole surviving SR catering vehicle, in February 2024. You can see details of progress on this and our other projects on our SRCG Projects page, and follow things week by week via the SRCG Facebook page.
