Virtual Tours

We are very pleased to offer virtual 360 tours of Bluebell Railway’s stations!

You can explore Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes with the Bluebell Railway tour, which includes SteamWorks!, the Shop, signal boxes and tours around the platforms. Plus, our Museum tour allows you to take a look around the accredited Bluebell Railway Museum at Sheffield Park.

Then, hop to Kingscote to explore the station – and take a glimpse behind the scenes. This virtual tour includes the booking office and signal box, which are areas not usually open to the public.

How to use our Virtual Tours:

A Virtual tour is made up of 360 degree images so you can see all around you.

On a mobile phone: You can either use the phone on portrait or landscape mode. Then use your finger on the screen to move the image around or when you hold the phone level in front of you turn slowly around and the image on the phone will move as well. Tap with the finger on the flashing arrows or small images to move forwards or backwards in the tour.

On a computer or laptop: Use your mouse to move the image up, down, left or right. Click with the mouse on the flashing arrows or small images to move forwards or backwards in the tour.

These 360 Virtual tours are funded by the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage. It has been produced by the railway in collaboration with Stef van Vuuren of Stef’s Photography.
