Country Railway Routes Strood to Paddock Wood

For long a railway byway of charm, the line follows the Medway Valley for most of its route, its southern part passing through the orchards of the Garden of England. Of special railway interest were the stations at Maidstone and the sidings serving the paper mills and cement works of the district.
