We’re now open every day until the end of September, with a packed Spring & Summer of events !
This weekend from Friday 18th May to Sunday 20th May is our Branch Line Event!
Come and visit us for a fun-packed “Little Engines’ Big Weekend” showcasing Bluebell Railway’s small locomotives.
We’ve planned a busy timetable to recreate the branch line feel of our Railway in its heyday, concentrating on the use of our smaller Bluebell locomotives, (Loco numbers 263,323, 30541 and 65) plus our special visitor, the Great Western Railway Saddle Tank Loco GWR813
For more details see the Branch Line Weekend Event Page

Coming Soon – a brand new exhibition – ‘Steam Works!’
In partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sunninghill Construction Ltd, the Bluebell Railway will be creating an exciting new exhibition called ‘Steam Works!’. Situated in our locomotive running shed, the exhibition will complement our static locomotive display by exploring the science behind steam, the individual stories of each engine, and the people who make them work.
Please note the locomotive running shed will be closed to the public while we replace the roof and improve access for our all to our engines.
Access the loco shed and ‘Steam Works!’ from July 2018!
