Opening Soon – a brand new exhibition – ‘Steam Works!’

In partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sunninghill Construction Ltd, the Bluebell Railway have been busy creating an exciting new exhibition called ‘SteamWorks!’ Situated in our locomotive running shed, the exhibition complements our static locomotive display by exploring the science behind steam, the individual stories of each engine and the people who make them work.  At the same time, we have been replacing the roof our of the locomotive shed and installing other features to provide a brighter, better environment for you to view our engines.

We are very pleased to announce that loco shed and ‘SteamWorks!’ will be opening on Saturday 20th October 2018!
