Today at the Railway

Saturday 23rd Mar – Friday 29th Mar 2019

Timetabled Trains

  • On Saturday, the Steam Dreams Rail Co. will be bringing LNER by B1-class No. 61306 “Mayflower” to visit the railway as part of a steam charter from Southend. This will be a great opportunity to see “Mayflower” which sadly couldn’t make it to our Giants of Steam gala last October. Please note visitors to the railway won’t be able to travel behind “Mayflower” but are very welcome to come along to view and take photos of this beautiful loco. We’ll be running a modified Service 2 timetable to accommodate this visit (hauled by our own locomotives) – 4 return trains from Sheffield Park at 9.30am, 11.20am, 2.00pm & 3.20pm (departures from East Grinstead at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 3.05pm & 4.20pm. Please note that the last return train from East Grinstead will be at 12.30pm).
  • Our normal Service 2 timetable will be running on Sun with 4 return trains from Sheffield Park at 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm (departures from East Grinstead at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm)
  • We’re sorry but we’ve no trains running during the week (Mon – Fri)
