London Suburban Railways Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace

This Great Northern Railway branch had a unique history, it being a story of a succession of disappointments, culminating in a failed preservation scheme. The diverse steam trains and the early electrification work to make the route part of the Northern City Line are fully illustrated.
