Midland Main Lines Rickmansworth to Aylesbury including the Chesham Branch

The last main line from the Midlands to London made use of this route, which had been developed by the Metropolitan Railway. Thus the line became a hybrid, carrying expresses and suburban trains of different companies for over half its life. The illustrations reflect this interesting past.
