The Cathedrals Express visits The Bluebell Railway
On Thursday 13 July 2017, The Cathedrals Express will start out from London Victoria to take passengers on a nostalgic journey to The Bluebell Railway. The train will depart from Victoria at around 18:00, hauled by a vintage diesel engine, making its way through pretty Surrey countryside to East Grinstead. From here, a steam locomotive from the Bluebell’s collection will take over for the 11 mile journey through the picturesque Weald Valley. Passengers will have approximately 2 hours to spend at the end of the line at Sheffield Park.
Tickets for this special evening trip on board The Cathedrals Express are available in all four classes. These range from £69 in Premium Standard through to the top class of Pullman Style Dining of £189 per person. Passengers travelling in Pullman Style will enjoy a champagne welcome and a three course meal, whilst those opting for Premium Standard will be seated at tables of four in open carriages and served with complimentary tea and coffee at their seats.
